We purchased the Electro Boiler as a backup heat source for our son's home in rural New Jersey. Due to the rocky soil there is no natural gas. He uses a pellet stove as the first heat source. We were replacing an older oil boiler, clearly from the long ago days of cheap oil. I've tried several PTAC units. Most are quite good, the LG's however are by far the best and most efficient units that I've ever used. They are slightly more expensive, but extremely reliable, quiet and user friendly..
