I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.

Ameristar furnaces ARE the same as Trane and American standard furnaces (per trane tech support), except they don't have a painted finish. Even made in the same Trenton NJ factory. This furnace is about 40% cheaper here, on this site, than the same model in a Trane is from the local distributor.

We surveyed several options for purchasing the DitraHeat and eComfort was significantly less than the other options. Warmwire Heated Floor Apr 20, 2016

I installed a WarmWire heated floor in a 6'x8' coat room that had no other source of heat. It is on a concrete slab with 2 outside walls and a wall to an unheated attached garage. I glued 2 6mm thick sheets of Cerazorb synthetic cork directly on the concrete. It was super easy to lay the wire on top on the cork using the metal clip system provided. Worth The Money Sep 30, 2016

This fan will cost you a little more, but it's worth it! Light is plenty bright, comes with light bulbs, 2 regular, 1 night. Easy to wire. Very quiet, can hardly hear it. Moves a lot of air. My mirror doesn't fog up at all and everything is bone dry. A tissue can easily be held up with fan power. It almost tears it and sucks it through the slots! Packaging of the product was top notch, very well protected.
